I recorded this in 2017, and uploaded the performance as a video to YouTube. The most recent mass murder at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas saddened me and reminded me of the song, and I thought I'd bring it here as audio, to Bandcamp. This one is available as a free download, and of course, as always, if you'd like to support my musical activities, a donation is always welcome. Thanks, and with any luck (actually, it's gonna take a whole LOT, I'd reckon) we WILL get rid of the NRA, on some bright future day.

about a very bad thing called the NRA
the National Rifle Association
enablers of mass murder all across the nation

we gotta get rid of this NRA
for the health of the USA
people it’s the only way

men who say what they’re told to say
and do what they’re told to do
y’see this NRA they got a stranglehold
on our democracy

this NRA, they run a very effective propaganda machine
all part of a right wing, corporate agenda that’s truly obscene
they portray themselves as freedom’s defenders, hah! what fakers
all they are is the propaganda wing of the big gun makers
they’re neither democracy’s ally nor freedom’s friend
and history demands, absolutely demands
that they be brought to an end

so let’s get rid of this NRA
for the health of the USA
